What I hate about the profession

Maybe I already know what I hate about journalism. I can say that 'cause of the kinds of homework I had at this point of the career. There is a lot of things I don't like.
First, there is this thing that you don't have a fixed schedule. Once, a teacher told to the class that she was is her car one night and this big earthquake begins and she had to left all her plans and travel to somewhere to do what journalists are supposed to do. I remember that 'cause I wouldn't like to have to travel one minute to the next. I mean, it could be a sunday or any other day when I'm supposed not to work. It's like with the nurses or doctors or jobs like that.
I wouldn't mind if I have to save a life or that kind of things, but we are talking about some guy who dies and you have to forget everything you are doing and go to his house and tell to the country.
I know it's not like that, but it's kind of.
Another thing I don't like is the fact that it's hard to work on subjects that you think are important. There is so many social problems and stories that should be told and you won't unless you boss wants to or if you're your own boss. Again, I know it's not so terrible and bad as I say it, but it's how I imagine it and I know I'm not so wrong either.
